Crop Cultivation
Crop Cultivation is a very intergral part of Farming, as without grow crops the wouldn't be enough nutritious food for consumption.
Furthermore without crop cultt there wouldn't be raw material to turn to other processed food like Golden morn from Maize , "Garri" also known as cassava flakes, all kinds of snacks made with wheat flour and. Many more just to mention but a few.
Farming with respect to crop cultivation is deals with planting crops either for person consumption or for export or for both.
Hence we call some crops cash crops. This crops are most suitable for exporting to other countries,crops like coccoa, Rubber,Oil palm, Cassava, Coconut, just to mention less, are crops that are need by other countries to turn into several finished goods hence bring about increased income to such country or Individual that's indulges in cash crops farming.
However any kind of crops can be cultivated for the purpose of exporting to others countries to earn revenue.
This made me remember those days when farming was the main stay of my dear country back in the days around early 19th Century.
Then the economy was bouyant to the extent that our currency had more value and purchasing power than the United States Dollar. Most foreign visitors do prefer to settle in my dear country and invest and do all other activities pleasing to them.
But today reverse is the case. But not until we discovered crude oil in commercial quantity and neglected farming which as sustaIned the economy of the country for years.enough of the history.
Crop Cultivation can either be labour intensive or capital intensive.
Labour intensive simply implies the use of human labour to farm and the use of crude farming tool which includes hoes, Cutlass,manual watering can etc
While Capital intesive method of Crop cultivation simply implies the use of
ModernMachines and implements to farm,which includes Tractors, Ridgers, Harvesters,Plough etc.This machines requires huge amount of money to purchase hence capital Intensive and is most suitable for Farming on a large scale which requires several hectares of land.
While the former is majorly associated with subsistence farming although can be used on a large can basis but may not be as easy as using machines to operate on farmland.
Final Concluding words, Let's cultivate a better future by cultivating our lands.we must constantly practice Farming to boost our economy, good income and be of help to the society at large. Lets imagine if their were no farmers and everyone is doing a white collar job,before long we will be dead. So let's start cultivating our land.

Farming And It's Inherent Potentials.
What is farming?
Farming is a productive act of engaging in agriculture activities, such as planting of Crops and Rearing of Animals which is mean't to benefit mankind.
However some may say Farming is the act of managing a Farm and engaging Farming activities.
Farming can be seen as an occupation,job or an activity that involves the cultivation of Crops and keeping animals.
Without parambulating farming is the oldest occupation or activities man as ventured in since time Immemorial. This support it's importance to the survival of the human race.
As without farming there wouldn't be humans living on Earth today.Due to the fact that our involvement in farming helps us to provide food to quench or hunger,shelther to sheild and protect us from adverse weather and climatic conditions and raw materials to turn to finished goods.
Even the earliest humans use Crops gotten from Farming as a form currency know as the trade by barter, where one exchange one or more farm product for the other with proportionate demand for such farm product, Invariably meeting the need of the two exchangers. In those times things were fine, everyone loved and care for each other and was responsible to each other's well-being, without the use of paper currency or coin which need to be earned in aboundance before one can easily transact.
The way the world economy as been and the financial and economic recession as clearly shown that farming can be our utimate life line to an improve Standard of living to people all over the world.
When we engaged in farming we can never lack good and nutritious food on your table, which Invariably increase our quality of life, Farming provides the needed raw materials for industries to use and turn to consumeables goods.it has even been statistically proven that farming increases the wealth of a Nation through exportation of farm produce.
Without saying to much farming needs to be revisited and embarked upon by all a sundry.
To wrap it up farming is an interesting and one of if not the most Profitable Occupation an individual or any Government can embarked upon in this present century. Farmers are King and a Farming nation is a Progressive nation. So the Clarion call goes to everyone to let's go back to the Good old days of Farming.
